Double Entendre : Soft Goods

September 25 – October 11, 2026

Soft Goods invites Montreal and Toronto designers to explore how soft materials can be used to create form through process. This exhibition asks participants to experiment with pliable, flexible, or malleable materials; such as fabric, foam, paper, silicone, or others to shape objects that reveal the creative potential of working with softness.

The exhibition brings together works that demonstrate the varied possibilities of these materials, from forms that remain gentle in shape and touch to those that transform into solid, structured pieces. At its core is an interest in process and material exploration. Designers are encouraged to let making guide the design, allowing form to unfold through touch, movement, experimentation, and the unique behavior of each material.

The exhibition will be open: Thursday & Friday 4 – 7pm and Saturday & Sunday 12 – 5pm.
